A Mosque Flying to Poland

The Sultan Sallahuddin Mosque

I get this postcard from Malaysia. This is my first postcard from Asia. This is The Sultan Sallahuddin Mosque in Shah Alam, a place which is not far from the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. This is the largest mosque in South East Asia (the information on the back of the postcard say so, but I have heard in TV that Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta is the largest mosque in Asia). Based on wikipedia, this is the second largest mosque in South East Asia after Istiqlal Mosque. The Sultan Sallahuddin Mosque is the most expensive mosque ever built in Malaysia.

The Sultan Sallahuddin Mosque is also called "Blue Mosque". Not a blue mosque in Turkey, but another blue mosque. This mosque was built in 1983 - 1987. This mosque was named after Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sallahuddin Abdul Aziz.

En cette intinite que chaque soir apporte..."

A man riding a horse

I got this postcard while I was in Poland. This postcard was written and stamped, but not sent by the post office. Jay, my best friend in college said that it was difficult to find the post office there. Instead of sending it, Jay gave this postcard via Ima, another friend of mine.

Jay, bought this postcard when she visited Phuket last year. In the postcard she said that she chose the man riding a horse as a pray that I will be able to make journey all around the world with a horse. Yeah, that a nice wish although literally it is difficult to travelling by horse nowadays.

Welcome World!!

Yeah, I made another blog as a gallery for my postcards. Less than one year ago I joined www.postcrossing.com. Now, I have several postcards and this blog would be the place for them.

I am going to write them all in English because I hope postcrossers from other countries will be able to read this post. I am going to post this blog in my postcrssing profile. This is also a way to improve my English skills.

Yeah, keep writing and happy postcrossing!

Kiki
